Is it safe to send gold in the post?
Yes. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery which is tracked, signed for, and insured up to £2,500. Your items are covered from the moment they're accepted at the Post Office to the moment they arrive with us. Every pack includes a pre-paid Special Delivery label.
How quickly will I get paid?
We aim to test and value your items on the day they arrive. Once you accept the offer, payment is sent by bank transfer within 24 hours during business days. Most customers receive funds the same day or the next working day.
What if I don't accept the offer?
No problem at all. If you decline, we return everything by tracked, insured post completely free of charge. There is no obligation to sell, and you won't be charged anything.
I don't know what carat my gold is — does that matter?
Some of your items might not be hallmarked or the stamp has been worn away. If you are unsure about what carat your items are, don't worry, our methods of testing will be able to accurately identify the item. We can test and validate all items once they arrive at our valuation centre.
